Getting There

Festival on The Wall takes place on a privately-owned site nestled in the rolling hills of Northumberland just 12 miles west of the vibrant city of Newcastle. If you are arriving by car head to the A69 and follow the signs for FOTW. Here are some of the best ways to make your journey:

Now the A1 road works have finished it couldn’t be simpler! From the South follow the A1 to Newcastle and take the A69 exit for Hexham. You can then follow the FOTW signs to the festival. From the North follow the A68 to Newcastle and take the B6318 for Newcastle. You can then follow the FOTW signs to the festival. From the East follow the A69 towards the A68 and then on to the B6318 for Newcastle. You can then follow the FOTW signs to the festival.

We want to be the most sustainable and enjoyable festival in the UK but we can’t do that without you.  There’s plenty of car parking adjacent to the main camping areas but who wants to spend their weekend getting in and out of a car park?

If you are coming by car, fill it with everything you’ll need for the weekend – including your friends!  If you aren’t bringing friends why not make some new ones by taking advantage of Liftshare? We’ve teamed up to ensure you can get to the festival, without impacting on the environment.
